Ferrymead Heritage Park

  • Ferrymead Park features an early 1900s (Edwardian) township and the park has a variety of restored cottages plus a school house, church and businesses which reflect the period and allow visitors to experience life for the early residents of Christchurch.
  • There is also a large array of heritage museums and displays that are often open for viewing, particularly on Sundays. These museums are owned and operated by individual societies.
  • Their own volunteer workers restore and display their collections, such as tractors, fire engines, aeroplanes, trams, trains, theatrical operations, mini rail, model trains, radios, photography and much more.
  • See the Ferrymead Heritage Park website for further details and bookings: https://www.ferrymead.org.nz/
